A.P.C. Moccasins

I need new moccasins! Preferably A.P.C. ones. I'm sure you all know why. Nothing more to explain.

Oh, Homme et Femme. Please go on sale. Cheers!

My Polo Bear Sheets!

Just felt like blogging about my polo bear sheets since I saw my friend blog about his polo bear shirts! HAHA. Mr. Cruz, I got my share of polo bears too.

I have this one in yellow stripes too. I couldn't take photos of it though since it's in the laundry. Haha!

Sorry, pretty random post. Cheers!

"UK" Found Ralph Button-down

I'm not really the type who'd dig into big piles of clothing in ukays, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try sometimes. Most of my friends actually find good buys in ukays.

A few months back, with the help of my "UK" expert friends, namely Leo Cruz and Martin Mangubat, I was able to buy this Ralph seersucker button-down shirt.

You can't go wrong with 150 pesos. HAHA. It still needs some altering though since it's an XL. This shirt is actually my first (and so far, my only) UK found shirt. More to come?

Cheers!

Cole Haan, which one should I buy?

I dropped by the Cole Haan store in Rockwell last week to look at some shoes that I've been eyeing for quite sometime now.

Compared to the US, Cole Haan here is pretty expensive. I'm planning to order the shoes online. Who knows, I might be able to buy both pairs if I order online since it comes out much cheaper.

This one's on sale already since it's an old stock (Php 7350)

This one isn't on sale since it's a new arrival (Php 10500)

Christmas is just around the corner so I guess it's time for me to start thinking about the stuff that I'm gonna be buying come December! ;) HAHA.

Cheers!

Take a Look at "Take Ivy"

"The product of four collegiate style enthusiasts, Take Ivy is a collection of candid photographs shot on the campuses of America's elite, Ivy League universities. The series focuses on men and their clothes, perfectly encapsulating the unique student fashion of the era."

It's finally here! After weeks of looking at its contents in different blogs (yes, I pretty much have seen most of it), I now have my own copy of Take Ivy. First of all, I have to say thank you to my girlfriend, Stef Padilla, for ordering the book online and giving it to me as a present!

Take Ivy was originally published in Japan in 1965. It was released again in Japan in 2006 and was sold out immediately. Thanks to powerHouse Books, this book is made available again for us kids who adore the whole prep look! And the best part is, it's translated in English already!

Though the book's main attraction is the collection of photographs, the book also has sections that describe the typical stuff that Ivy Leaguers do, the clothes that they where, where they buy clothes, etc. In fact, the descriptions are so detailed that when it comes to the essential stuff that Ivy Leaguers should have, it even says how many of it you should own and in what style, color, etc.

These Ivy League kids definitely know their style! Check it out, guys. The book is already available in Fullybooked, although it's a bit more expensive. Cheers!

Kickin' It Old School: Casio Watches

There's something about these old school watches that make them look so neat. Well, actually, there are a lot of reasons why these watches are cool.

My brother's silver plated Casio calculator watch

My gold plated Casio calculator watch

First of all, these watches are wallet friendly. Haha! It might even cost you nothing if you're lucky enough to find your parents' old Casio watches. Second, it looks so chill. Picture this. Dark jeans, plain white shirt, neat pair of boat shoes and silver/gold/rubber Casio? What do you think?

My friends' (Abe and Martin's) gold plated Casio watches

I could give you more reasons but I doubt you'd need more. Let's face it, these watches are pretty neat! Let's kick it old school, guys! Cheers!
