Kickin' It Old School: Casio Watches

There's something about these old school watches that make them look so neat. Well, actually, there are a lot of reasons why these watches are cool.

My brother's silver plated Casio calculator watch

My gold plated Casio calculator watch

First of all, these watches are wallet friendly. Haha! It might even cost you nothing if you're lucky enough to find your parents' old Casio watches. Second, it looks so chill. Picture this. Dark jeans, plain white shirt, neat pair of boat shoes and silver/gold/rubber Casio? What do you think?

I could give you more reasons but I doubt you'd need more. Let's face it, these watches are pretty neat! Let's kick it old school, guys! Cheers!

Bags, Bags, Bags

I think it's safe to assume that most men use those sporty and bulky looking backpacks for school, work and traveling. I, however, never liked using backpacks. Since I started schooling (as early as grade school), I've been using messenger bags. Ironically, while most men find using backpacks more practical and comfortable, I think otherwise. Messenger bags look better too!

I bought this Ben Sherman messenger bag back in 4th year high school. I was able to use until the first half of 2nd year college. Sadly, I had to retire it already since it was getting old. Plus, I got tired of carrying my laptop too. It won't fit inside unless I take out my books, notebooks, etc.

Now this is the bag that I'm currently using for school and for traveling. It's a Fred Perry messenger bag! Perfect size too since my laptop can fit inside without having to take out all my other school stuff. Stef got me this for my birthday! Good timing since I had to retire Mr. Sherman.

This is my Longchamp "briefcase" that I sometimes use for traveling and school. It isn't very ideal for school though since you won't be able to fit a lot inside. Most of the time, I just use this as a laptop bag.

If you'd like to get yourself some neat messenger bags too, check out Ben Sherman in Shangri-La Mall and the Fred Perry branches in Greenbelt 5, Powerplant Mall and Atrium.

Cheers!

Fred Perry Camera Bag

One thing that I don't like about SLR cameras is that it's too big! That's the main reason why I haven't been using and bringing my camera around. Sadly, it's just rotting inside its unattractive camera bag.

But look what me and my girlfriend found! A couple of days ago, we dropped by the Laurel Shop in Greenbelt 5 to check out the sale items and the new arrivals. This is when we saw this perfect camera bag! By perfect, what I mean is that it has all the essential features a camera bag should have. Check out its specifications in the photo! And of course, it's Fred Perry! It's also a good buy in terms of its quality and style! ;)

Hmm, I'm still thinking whether I should buy this or not. I most probably will though! What do you guys think? With this bag, I'd be able to bring my camera around again. I wouldn't have to bring my unattractive camera bag with me anymore.

Cheers!
